Computer Tank

This is a recent side project that I created using Maya and 3DCoat to re-familiarize myself with the software after not using them for a little while. I was inspired by some images that I saw of fishtanks created from old electronics which created an interesting visual juxtaposition. While I wanted some level of photo realism I chose some colours and shapes that added to the cartoon style and surreal idea of the computer fishtank. In the future I hope to use this for an animation and add motion to the lava lamp and jelly fish.
